With the dungeon exploring element of the board game, I wanted some ability to find random loot that wasn't tied into a bunch of dice rolls and checking tables. Instead, I decided to use a deck of cards. A properly shuffled, face down set of cards can provide enough random chance without needing and complex systems in place.
With their basic equipment, the hunters aren't much of a match for the monster. These loot cards are designed to give them a better chance of dealing damage and staying a live against an otherwise impossible enemy.
